Hi! My dog's name is Pugsy he is 1 we got him when he was 4months old. he was so CUTE!

Hi Alexis and Pugsy,
What kind of dog is Pugsy? If I had three guesses, my first guess would be a Pug. They are adorable dogs, smart too. I would love to see a picture of him. If you go on the website, www.Gooberella.com, and go to the link titled Angel Dog Park there is a TV viewer where people can add pictures of their dogs.
One of the characters in my book, Angel in a Fur Coat, is a Pug named Professor Pugly.

I just went to your dogster site and saw that Pugsy isn't a Pug afterall. Pugsy is a Pekingese! My cousin!

My husband and I had a really rough year in 2006. My mother had died, and my 40-yr-old brother died 5 days after mom died. That was a shock.
A couple months later, we got a call that my husband's father had committed suicide. A month after that, my cousin committed suicide.
Needless to say, both of us were grieving in so many ways.
One day, my husband brought home a cute little dog.. she had a tag on.. and my husband said, "look what I found" I started to look at her tag, to see who to call, and my husband said, "no... it's your new doggy"!
Her name was 'Rain'... and she was a Min Pin, and really scared. It took her 2 days for her to let me near her.
She is now named "Chiquita Banana"; Chiqi for short. She is fun, beautiful, and full of the dickens. She is my little angel cuz she warmed my heart up again after I had been so sad. My husband adores her, too!
It was a fluke that we got her that day. A couple was moving, and their new place did not have a fenced yard. It was close to a busy road, and they loved her enough to find a good home for her. It was hard for them. They had someone else planned to take Chiquita... but at the last minute, they changed their mind. So, my husband went to the hardware store that day, and this family did, too, trying to find a good family for her. They have visited every month or so to make sure we are good parents... and it's been almost 2 years! We love our little Chiquita

I'm so sorry to hear of all the tragedies you and your husband had endured in such a short period of time. It sounds like little Chiqi (aka Rain) came into your life at just the right time, and you into hers. Maybe it wasn't a fluke afterall. Angels in furs take all types of different paths to get to the ones they were made for. Some are bought, some are found, some are adopted, and some are rescued from the pound. But when you do find your angel in fur, or when they find you, it's complete unconditional love. I'm glad you and Chiqi found each other. Thanks for sharing your stroy. The picture you sent to the guest book is adorable! Little Chiquita Banana with her monkey...2 cute!

what a wonderful story and idea! My mom and dad are always saying I must be an Angel from heaven! They look at me everyday and say how blessed they are to have me, and how is it possible to have such a wonderful dog, I must be an Angel from heaven!
My dad rescued me, a purebred Maltese from a man that could no longer care for me. His wife had died, who I belonged to, and he just didn't have the time for me. He was going to take me to the pound, but instead he took me to my dad's work for the day and my dad saw me and fell in love with me.
That was the start of my new life with my new mom and dad. I was only 18 mos. old. I love my new home! I have now been with my new mom and dad for 1 year. My mom and dad treat me so special, they let me sleep right up between their two pillows. Plus, they take me with them to the lake and take me boating and kayaking. I am very adventurous for a little dog. I even like swimming in the lake when the water is warm! I like water and I love to take a shower with my mom!
I have become a big part of the family and am so lucky to have been rescued by two loving parents. My mom and dad hope to rescue a friend for me soon.

One day everyone in the whole wide world will know that we, the doggies, are really angels in fur coats.
You sound like you have a wonderful life filled with love, hopefully someday every dog will be able to experience love like we do.

My dogs, Luke and Lilah, are so sweet. Lilah who is 3 1/2, is our oldest dog. We bought her on December 1, 2005. She is black and white with a little brown above her eyes. She thinks she is part of "royalty". She always gets pampered.
Luke, our other dog, is 1 3/4. He is always springing around and leaving his toys out in the yard just waiting for someone to step on them. He is a great companion. He is all black except on his belly and one spot on back. His face is white, also.
We bought both of our dogs from the Rainbow Bridges Kennel in SC.

my little Bitsy is 17 months old, i have had her 3 months. she is a rescue pekingnese. she was dumpted at a shelter and resuce with 11 other dogs pulled her. she is NOW a happy and loving , safe little girl. i love her dearly

hi me(hootie) and my adopted sister joy saw you at jacksonville, fl oct.24 you signed your book for her. she told us all about it.We loved the story and can't wait for the sequell.I hootie had another adopted sister precious. She was my best friend. She went to heaven 3 yrs. ago. In remembrance of her my mom named her doggie clothes business after her called precious 2u.well I must go now. we love you byeee
